Our lab studies how young children develop speech, language, and social interaction skills. Participation in our studies is easy, fun, and only requires a short visit scheduled at a time convenient for you and your child.
You would be with your child the whole time while he or she watches short videos of people talking or objects moving. We use an eye tracking device, which looks like a small bar on the computer screen, to monitor your child’s visual attention to these events. This gives us important information about how babies and children learn about their world.
We are located at Northeastern University in Boston, on the MBTA Orange and Green Lines. Free on-campus parking is also available. For more information or to participate, please call 617-373-6374 or email us at [email protected]. Visit us at northeastern.edu/cdl to learn more about our work!
