2016 Boston Fall Bucket List

It’s here! Fall is in the air. Time for some good ol’ New England fun!

Pull out those sweaters, make the switch back to hot coffee, enjoy all things apple and pumpkin, and have fun with family and friends. There is so much to do all over Boston and beyond, and we’ve got a great list to keep you busy every day and night! What’s on your “must do” list for the fall?

  • Get the fireplace cleaned, and build your first fire of the season
  • Carve jack-o’-lanterns and decorate the house for Halloween

  • Plan your Halloween costumes and get ready to trick or treat (in your neighborhood or at a local business)
  • Have friends over for a Saturday or Sunday football party

  • Bake bread. Bake everything.
  • Enjoy fall-flavored ice cream, like maple and pumpkin
  • Eat too much candy corn and mellowcream pumpkins
  • Roast pumpkin seeds
  • Dine al fresco for as long as you can
  • Explore a local Irish pub
  • Have a locavore Thanksgiving

  • Go hiking — there are tons of local trails and mountains to climb
  • Enjoy a run in the cooler weather

    Boston seems to come alive in the fall. Not only are the leaves on the trees throughout the city in full display with their fall colors, but also there are plenty of fall activities that go along with the season, such as carving a pumpkin or having people over for a football party.
